In which I learn that I cannot focus a camera lens with my glasses on. (The boys are still cute, though.)
It has been around four months since I adopted Bartleby and Trout, and in my small, one-bedroom apartment one of the biggest challenges has been finding the ideal litter.
The situation: my two kittens share one lidded jumbo litter box, which sits in the bathroom with a litter mat under it. The kittens are perfectly happy waiting in line or even doing their thing at the same time, but dust and tracking are major issues. The brands I tried are Feline Pine, Arm and Hammer Multi-Cat, Green Tea Leaves, Integrity Multi-Cat Clumping (Clay), and Integrity Wheat Sand Litter. My experiences follow the cut.
They take turns holding each other while napping. I would also like to direct your attention towards Bartleby’s hind paws. Ahh!
Cat-sitting, day one: success. (Except the fact that I don’t have a bed to sleep on any more. Oh, cats…)
PS. Merry Christmas!
